The fuel tank of car Ford Focus is in the bottom back part of the car. It is made entirely of the formed, strengthened synthetic polymer. Models with the petrol engine have a tank in volume of 55 l, the tank of cars with the diesel engine has volume of 52,7 l. Models with the petrol engine have directly in a fuel tank the gauge of quantity of fuel and the fuel pump. On cars with the diesel engine is available топливоподкачивающий the pump submitting fuel from a fuel tank in the power supply system. This pump is a component плунжерного ТНВД distributive type which is under a cowl. On all models are available direct and return топливопроводы. The fuel tank of car Focus has no drain stopper. Before performance of repair work with a fuel tank it is necessary to remove fuel through a bulk mouth (fig. 181).
