Backlashes in a steering can be eliminated as a result of adjustment of the steering mechanism or by replacement of its details. It is better to spend this work in a specialised workshop.

Check of backlashes spend as follows:

- Put wheels directly in a movement direction;

- Look through open lateral glasses and rotate a steering wheel falteringly to the right and to the left;

- Pay attention to a lateral face of the left wheel, it should move rhythmically, to a step of rotation of a steering wheel. Elastic tyres can brake a little its movement;

- If you notice that at extreme angles of rotation of a wheel jamming is felt, it testifies to deterioration gear рейки. The steering mechanism should be replaced.
