As process of replacement of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering is identical to all engines in the given section we will stop on a variant of the pump with engine Zetec-SE. Workshops Ford at performance of these works use the following special tool:

- Grip for a teflon ring 211-188 (13-015);

- Key 307-242 (17-049).

Removal of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering spend in the following sequence:

- Remove a belt of a drive of auxiliary units as it was described earlier;

- Lift a forward part of the car and reliably fix on supports;

- Remove the pipeline of a cooler of a working liquid by means of a special key. A working liquid merge in pure capacity;

- Lower the car;

- Disconnect feeding tank and take aside;

- Remove bringing hose. A working liquid merge in pure capacity;

- Disconnect a contact socket from the pressure gauge in hydraulic booster hydrosystem;

- Remove the pressure head pipeline (fig. 279);

- Turn away bolts of fastening of the pump and remove it (fig. 278).

Installation of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering spend in the following sequence:

- At installation of the new pump check up teflon прокладочное a ring and if necessary replace with the new;

- Finish installation in sequence, return to removal;

- Remove air from hydrosystem of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
