Gear рейка on the right and at the left it is protected by rubber protective covers. Both covers should be пыленепроницаемы. Damp covers should be replaced, as through short time the getting dirt or a moisture transforms greasing in the steering mechanism into firm paste which leads to failure of the steering mechanism.

Check spend as follows:

- Regularly check by means of a portable lamp a condition гофр covers;

- Turning a steering wheel completely to the right and to the left, stretching гофры, you will find out small cracks;

- Collars of covers tighten reliably (fig. 267).
