Measurement of diameter of necks of a camshaft is made by means of a micrometer. The micrometer is serially established on all necks of a camshaft. Measurement of diameter of each neck spend with shaft turn on a corner 90 . If necks are worn strongly out, it is necessary to replace a shaft (fig. 160).
